Including 1st place in the 1,000m three times, he swept eight gold medals in the World Cup individual event.

Having already confirmed the first place in the World Cup rankings this season in the 5th competition, he has accumulated a total of 968 points to this day, further widening the gap with second place Hong Gyeong-hwan (Goyang City Hall, 634 points).

In the final, Park Ji-won, who had been watching the flow of the game slowly, overtook him on the outer course with nine laps left and climbed to first place, while Hong Gyeong-hwan and Lee Dong-hyun, who competed together, also took their places in the lead.

In the women’s 1,500m final held on the same day, Sim Suk-hee (Seoul City Hall) won the bronze medal with a record of 2:29:482.

Kim Gil-ri (Seohyun High School) was in 5th place (2:29:873), and Kim Gun-hee finished the game in 7th place (2:48:018) out of 7 in Final B.

In the first round of the women’s 1,000m race, Seo Hwi-min (Korea University) withdrew from the quarterfinals, while Lee So-yeon (Sports Toto) advanced to Final B and placed second (1:31:960).
