For this sixth edition, new objects can be repaired, including bicycles, computers and telephones. Repair avoids waste, but also expenses that we cannot always afford.

This year, you will even have the opportunity to learn more regarding maintaining your computers and phones thanks to the presence of Econext Informatique and, for those waiting their turn, to learn more regarding climate change thanks to at the Fresque Quiz”, underlines Auriane Schiewe, circular economy advisor and responsible for the event.
“We hope to offer as many people as possible the opportunity to respite in expenses while having a positive impact on the environment. In the past, more than 320 items have been repaired by more than 80 different volunteers.
The Repair Shop will be held at the Maison de la solidarité (1060, rue Saint-François-Xavier, door 4).
For people who cannot participate, Environnement Mauricie reminds that its team has created a directory of repairers, a digital tool available at www.environnementmauricie.com which lists the contact details of repairers throughout the region.
