Late on Saturday evening, an unknown man shot two men in front of a nightclub in Lustenau.
According to the police, they were seriously injured in their extremities, but their lives were not in danger. The background to the crime was initially completely unclear; the two victims from Chechnya were taken to the hospitals in Bregenz and Dornbirn. The police cordoned off the crime scene, around 200 local guests were questioned and taken out of the building.
No mortal danger for men who have been shot
The incident occurred around 11:45 p.m. in front of the “Sender Club” discotheque on the outskirts of Lustenau. The perpetrator is said to have fled in a black SUV following firing the shots. The State Criminal Police Office is conducting the investigation.
