The three victims are two men and a woman, “suffering from multiple gunshot wounds”. The police who visited the scene “observed several active shooters opening fire on the crowd” in the busy South Street area of ​​Philadelphia.

“You can imagine there were hundreds of people enjoying South Street like every weekend when this shooting broke out”, said the police. At this point, two handguns have been found at the scene and no arrests have been reported.

Since the massacre in a school in Uvalde, Texas, on May 24, which left 21 dead, there have been more than twenty shootings with several victims in the United States, according to the association Gun Violence Archive.
