The presidential candidate Otto Sonnenholzner alerted this Saturday morning regarding a shooting registered in the area where he was having breakfast with his family, in the north of Guayaquil. The presidential candidate reported what happened, through his account on the X social network:
“Thank God we are all fine but we demand an investigation into what happened,” said the politician.
“The fear and helplessness that I saw in the eyes of everyone present hurts me. We can’t go on like this. Tomorrow let’s change the course!,” Sonnenholzner took advantage of to urge Ecuadorians to vote en masse, in a controversial election marred by the assassination of fellow presidential candidate Fernando Villavicencio.
