Shooting in Brussels: two people seriously injured, ‘their lives are not in danger’

This Monday morning, the Brussels public prosecutor’s office clarified certain elements. “At the scene, various witnesses came forward and stated that they heard several gunshots. The perpetrators allegedly fled on a scooter“, indicates the prosecution.

The investigation began by interviewing witnesses, analyzing video surveillance cameras and appointing a forensic doctor and a ballistic expert.

On Sunday evening, the police made four arrests. “After being interviewed by the police, the four people were made available to the Brussels public prosecutor’s office. They were released by the magistrate on duty. These would be four people from the victims’ entourage“, specifies the prosecution in its press release.

Concerning the state of health of the victims, the prosecution indicates that “Their days are not in danger“.
