Shooting and death in the 1960s: three thieves wanted to rob passengers and clashed with police

Three criminals boarded a bus on line 60 and wanted to rob the passengers, but two of them were policemen from the City of Buenos Aires and se they faced gunshots in the middle of Panamericana, Talar de Pacheco height. One of the criminals died. and his two accomplices managed to escape.

It happened in the early hours of Sunday. Within the group that was heading to the City of Buenos Aires, there were around five passengers.

When the criminals entered the vehicle, they showed a weapon and tried to attack the driver and passengers. At that moment, the officers who were on their way to take duty at their premises, called a halt and the driver stopped the bus. The assailants went down and when the policemen they wanted stop them the occurred shooting.

The troops shot the 25-year-old criminal, who passed away on the spot, and others Two accomplices fled.

None of the passengers were injured.. The police carry out a lockdown operation to try to find the two fugitive thieves.

Personnel from the 5th Police Station of El Talar and other nearby units intervened in the operation. Security cameras in the area are being investigated to determine where the assailants fled and the criminals’ weapon is being sought, which was apparently discarded.
