At the World Shooting Championships in Baku, Sylvia Steiner captured the third medal of her career. The 41-year-old from Salzburg took bronze on Wednesday with the non-Olympic 25m standard pistol with a total of 561 rings behind the Chinese Sixuan Feng (572) and Anna Korakaki (562) from Greece. Last year, Steiner had won the air pistol mixed team title and silver in the 50m pistol at the World Championships in Cairo. “I am very happy regarding this medal. Of course I would have preferred it in an Olympic discipline, but a medal at the World Cup is always nice,” said the 41-year-old.
