“The victim and her daughter were rescued and admitted to a foundation in Peru and following a few months transferred to Ecuador, being enrolled in a protection system (…). The Specialized Unit for Boys, Girls and Adolescents of Ecuador, in coordination with the Prosecutor’s Office, participated in investigations focused on gathering information to locate the alleged perpetrator.

According to the prosecutor, the place where the individual sought to gain the trust of his victims was in a church in Villaflora in the south of Quito.
