She lived a different life in her childhood, then returned with her family to Egypt and resided in the Sayeda Zeinab neighborhood in Cairo. She graduated from the Faculty of Arts, Department of Philosophy, Ain Shams University, and obtained a master’s degree in Philosophy.

She loved art from an early age, especially the art of oriental dance, due to her influence on the dancer, Farida Fahmy. She began her artistic career in the world of dance in 1980, where she joined the Reda Folklore Troupe when she was only fifteen years old.

Dina ran away from her family with her sister, the retired singer Rita, who was working in the field of singing and decided to retire and wear the niqab, after her parents refused her professionalism in oriental dance. Nicknamed “Baba”, the dancer, Samia Gamal, is considered her idol in the world of dance.

She entered the field of acting through her first acting experience through the movie “Al-Bandira” with the artist Mervat Amin and Izzat Al-Alayli.
