A ambulance was going to attend an emergency when it was hit by a car. This caused a shocking overturn. The event occurred on route 65 and bypass.
On Saturday morning a shocking rollover took place in the city of Cipolletti. An ambulance on its way to attend a medical emergency suffered a crash which resulted in the overturning of the health unit. There were no injuries.
The ambulance was circulating on Julio Dante Salto street with its sirens and warning lights on as it entered Cipolletti to attend an emergency. When crossing the intersection with Route 65, a Kangoo truck hit the left side of the medical unit.causing the driver to lose control and roll over.
The incident was recorded by a security camera. During the video you can see the tension experienced by the witnesses of the accident. Seconds following the rollover, you can see how the neighbors who were in the place try to assist the ambulance passengers.
According to reports from the police, the road incident occurred around 6:30 in the morning on Saturday. They remarked that There were no injuries, but there was material damage. Police personnel from Unit 4 of the Manzanar, municipal transit, road, Civil Protection and Fire Department worked at the site. The causes of the accident are being investigated.
