With the rise in temperatures, the streets were empty of pedestrians, with a noticeable decline in the movement of cars, calmness applied to Ezz El-Din Omar Street in the Talbeya neighborhood, west of Giza. Butcher took the opportunity and entered his shop with a horse, but he made a naive mistake, giving him iron handcuffs as a gift from the policemen.
Yesterday, Monday, the residents of the main street branching from Al-Urouba gathered in front of the doors of a butcher shop, which most of them have always gone to buy meat. “It offers good meat at a reasonable price,” according to the residents.
An eyewitness recounts what happened behind the door of the butcher’s shop, “By knocking on the door, we opened it, and we found him slaughtering a horse.” Words he signed like bullets when the call to prayer heard them. What I just read happened, and is not a fantasy.
Shock pervaded the place in astonishment at what their eyes had just fallen on. “The horse was still slaughtered and blood flooded the ground.” The eyewitness recounts the scenes of those moments, especially the case of the butcher. “He lost his speech and no longer knew what to do.”
The residents of the area did not hesitate to inform the police, who in turn notified the Veterinary Medicine Directorate headed by Dr. Alaa Abdel-Al, in coordination with the Supply Investigation and neighborhood officials.
The police arrested the defendant and kept meat (minced meat – pieces) in a refrigerator, with the store closed and sealed by the neighborhood, in coordination with the police chief.
In front of the investigation men, the butcher stuttered and sweat poured from his brow, contenting himself with saying, “I want the poor to eat meat.” Major General Sameh Al-Hamili, Hakamdar Al-Jiza, referred him to the Public Prosecution Office for investigation.
