A security camera recorded the moment when the alleged hitman, a member of the “Los Gallegos” gang, shot three men to death. Apparently it would be a dispute over the “drop by drop” loan business in Cañete, Peru.
The events occurred around 3:45 in the followingnoon, on Libertadores Avenue, a few meters from the Panamericana Sur.
The victims were identified as Cristian Saavedra Candela, 33 years old; Norvick Saavedra Candela, 26 years old; and Christian Flores Sánchez, 31. These were dedicated to loans to medium-sized merchants and businessmen.
Local media point out that this situation would have generated a dispute over the hegemony of the “lenders”.
Witnesses point out that the three deceased men began to expand their market in areas where “Los Gallegos” carried out extortion for “drop by drop” loans.
The alleged criminals would disagree with their presence, for which they began the threats once morest the relatives.
Relatives of the victims demand that the Cañete authorities provide the images captured by the municipal security cameras. The mother of two of the deceased indicates that so far they have no answer.
According to the residents of the area, the presence of ‘Los Gallegos’, presumed criminals of Venezuelan nationality, increased the violence to levels never seen before.
The band would be the armed wing of the Tren de Aragua, a criminal group that was born in a prison in Venezuela. It easily managed to enter Peruvian territory to establish its criminal activities.
