The discovery of the body of a famous Brazilian actor who went missing four months ago was shocking.
British daily Daily Mail reported on the 27th (Korean time) that actor Jefferson Machado, who had disappeared three months ago, was found dead in a wooden box buried more than 2 meters high.
He went missing in Rio de Janeiro, where he lived, in January. Jefferson’s family mightn’t reach him, so when he went home, he found only his dog and reported him missing to the police.
Two of the dogs at the scene were found dead, and six were injured and taken to the hospital.
Machado’s mother testified that Machado sent a message saying, “I dropped my cell phone on the floor and it broke, so I mightn’t make a video call.”
The house where Machado’s body was found following four months of disappearance was rented by an unidentified man, and the actual owner of this building was another woman.
According to Brazilian media reports, his hands were tied and a wire wrapped around his neck when his body was found. Local police are trying to determine the exact cause of death, but it is known that the body is in a serious state of decomposition.
“The last phone call was on January 29th, and I said I would stay at a friend’s house for an interview,” said the family.
Meanwhile, as Jefferson died, the TV soap opera ‘Race’, which appeared in 2022, became his last work.
