Ann-Kathrin Bendixen is an adventurer through and through. However, an accident during her trip to Vietnam could now prevent her from dancing.
Cologne – Ann-Kathrin Bendixen (24) is actually a professional on two wheels. As a “monkey on a bike” she takes her followers on Instagram on her motorcycle trips. Most recently she travelled with Gabriel Kelly (23), whom she met in 2024 through “Let’s Dance“, on a scooter through Vietnam. She had a bad accident that could prevent her from taking part in the planned “Let’s Dance” tour.

In their Instagram stories, Ann-Kathrin Bendixen and Gabriel Kelly took their followers on a detailed journey through Vietnam. The “Let’s Dance” stars traveled the country on scooters during the rainy season and repeatedly faced challenges. An unfortunate incident occurred when they wanted to drive through the mountains. On the muddy country roads, the scooters repeatedly slipped into holes and ditches.

“I fell and my whole body hissed after the handlebars hit my ribs,” the former “Let’s Dance” participant initially said. But it got even worse: “And then there was a cow. I somehow slipped next to the stable and managed to twist my knee so that I was somehow stuck between the handlebars and the cow shit.” She added: “I kept losing consciousness and can hardly remember anything.”

Gabriel Kelly finally took Ann-Kathrin Bendixen to the hospital on his own scooter. “Some soft tissue in the knee is no longer quite good. Bones still intact,” wrote Bendixen in her story at the time. The trip was continued with restrictions. The influencer is now back home and has had a thorough examination. The diagnosis of the German doctors, however, looks bad, as it is currently on Instagram reveals: “I’m really sad! My cruciate ligament is torn, there’s a fracture in the bone and the medial ligament as well.”
