At least five people lost their lives and another nine were seriously injured during the followingnoon of this Saturday, when a rock wall collapsed on several motor boats that were moving under a waterfall in southeastern Brazil.
The information was ratified by the officials of the local fire department, who detailed that a tower of rocks suddenly dislodged from the canyon wall and collapsed onto the pleasure ships, sending a huge wave over him Lake Capitolio, in the state of Minas Gerais.
Videos posted on social media showed tourists screaming as the rock column crashed into the water. At least one wrecked boat sank, while the others escaped at high speed.
Firefighters, including divers, said they were looking for 20 people believed to be missing.
