One of the FBI agents investigating the events told the Oregon Live portal that “some cases alarm even the most experienced investigators, and this is one of them.”

He said this before the high load of evidence against Negasi Zuberi, a 29-year-old man who has lived in ten states, in which he allegedly committed multiple abuses against women.

For now, the case that occupies prosecutors is that of a woman who was not only subjected to sexual harassment, but also kidnapped from her home.

The incident happened late at night on July 15, when Zuberi solicited the sexual services of a woman near Aurora Avenue in Seattle, Washington.

After having received the woman’s favors, Zuberi showed him a badge that would accredit him as an undercover police officer.

He then pointed a taser at her, handcuffed her, put iron shackles on her legs and led her into the backseat of his car, according to an FBI agent’s report.

At the wheel, Zuberi told the woman he was taking her to a police station, but headed instead toward State Highway 5, which leads to Oregon.

This is how the woman managed to establish it when she saw the map application on the man’s phone, which also indicated that a two-hour and four-minute trip awaited them.

This made the woman, who has not been identified, understand that he was not the undercover policeman he claimed to be and that he was kidnapping her.

The tour ended up effectively taking them to southern Oregon, where Zuberi stopped and forced the woman to have sex.

There, the assailant locked his victim in an improvised cell by himself in the garage with cement blocks and a metal door. She remembered that the dungeon was dimly lit by a single bulb.

He realized that he had no other way to do it than to bang on the door, which he did insistently until he managed to make a small opening through which he crawled out across the floor, police Capt. Rob Reynolds told Oregon Live.

Once outside, after two hours of being locked up, the woman saw her kidnapper’s car at the entrance, ran towards him and took a weapon that Zuberi had left there and ran out until she reached a street where the driver of a car picked up and called 911.

The victim was taken to Sky Lakes Medical Center, where she underwent a forensic examination.

As for Zuberi, the police managed to track him through his phone in Reno, Nevada, where he was arrested and is now awaiting extradition to Oregon, to answer for what he did.

“The victim is strong and brave. She is now physically fine, ”reported the FBI, which is also providing help when it comes to lawyers and resources to obtain justice.

The investigation office also reported that the undercover police trick had already been used by the criminal with other women whom he drugged to subject them to sexual abuse.

Apparently, one of his favorite targets are sex workers, whom he would also have recorded while taking advantage of them.
