A woman with a full surname in Zhangjiajie, Hunan Province in mainland China posted two videos this year saying that her husband surnamed Li had her throat cut, which aroused widespread concern. Quan Nu recently announced on the social platform the first-instance criminal and civil judgment of the People’s Court of Yongding District, Zhangjiajie, Hunan Province. The content shows that the defendant Li Nan committed the crime of intentional injury and was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison. In this regard, Quan Nu said that she intends to abandon the appeal.
“Zhengguan News” reported that the Zhangjiajie City Public Security Bureau Yongding Branch received a report from a woman on February 7 this year, saying that her daughter had a conflict with her son-in-law near a certain community, resulting in a neck injury. After receiving the alarm, the Yongding Public Security Bureau immediately sent the police to the scene for disposal, and sent the injured to the hospital for treatment immediately. The injured were not life-threatening.
After investigation, at 5:00 p.m. on February 7, 30-year-old Li Nan and his 32-year-old wife, Quan Dian, clashed over a family dispute. Regarding the netizen’s suggestion to continue appealing, Quan Nu also said that she only has the right to appeal in the civil part, and can only apply for a protest in the criminal part, and replied, “I have applied, but there is little hope.”
