London – The British nurse has been found guilty of murdering seven newborn babies and attempting to kill six others. The court found 33-year-old Lucy Letby guilty. Complaints were received once morest Lucy last October.
Lucy killed the newborns by feeding them more milk or by injecting them with insulin. After a 22-day trial, Manchester Court found the woman guilty. The murders took place between June 2015 and June 2016 at Chester Hospital in North West England.
The court judged that Lucy had done the murders very efficiently without leaving any kind of evidence. The court described Lucy as a “skilled killer”. During the interrogation, Lucy repeated that the children were not harmed in any way.
“Lucy Letby was assigned by the hospital to take care of sick children. But the companions never realized that they had a murderer with them. At a time when the children and their families should have been relieved, they constantly abused the children.” – the court assessed.
