On Thursday, July 6, the security camera of a public transport bus in the municipality of Zapopan, in the state of Jalisco, captured the moment in which a passenger attacked the driver for not stopping when she requested the stop.
According to the recording, the incident occurred at 12:43 p.m. In the images it can be seen that the driver was calmly doing his job, when the woman, who wears blue jean pants and a flowery breeze, surprises him by pulling his hair.
In the video, it can be seen that the lady tugs her hair twice and then hits the driver, to finally demand: “please get me off, but now”, then she walks towards the lift gate, but the truck does not stop.
“Put me down, put me down, but now, please!” the woman demands, but the driver continues the march. “Get off me, the stop is there”, she claims, but the subject replies: “I’m not going to get her down and do whatever she can, while she fixes her hair,
The driver tells the woman that he is going to call a patrol car, so the passenger tells him to do it, while she continues to question the reason why he did not let her get off at the stop. “You are crazy! You have no right to hit me,” the man claimed.
In the recording you can see that they had a long verbal discussion, which caused the laughter of some girls who were in the seats near them.
Finally, in the video it is heard that the operator of the unit called by phone to request police support, but the images no longer show whether uniformed officers arrived at the scene.
So far, the Zapopan Mobility and Transportation Directorate has not ruled on this case.
