The management of SKAI has to face a second crisis in a very short period of time. After Vassilis Chiotis and the storm caused by his comment on the radio, this time the ownership of the Neos Faliros channel is faced with an equally unpleasant and uncomfortable event that has also caused the involvement of ESIEA and not only in order to defuse.
However, let’s take things from the beginning. It all started when Stefanos Kasselakis got on a tractor visiting the farmers. Antonis Kritikos, the SKAI journalist, did the same when the blockades came for the gathering at the Syntagma. Then an extremely unfortunate and racist message by Yiannis Adamidis, editor-in-chief of the central bulletin who is actually in the hierarchy below Vassilis Papadrosos, was enough to set fire to the station. The message never reached its recipient. On the contrary, it reached the commenter who was none other than Antonis Kritikos. No matter what, Adamidis immediately deleted the message. The damage had already been done while the journalist had caught up and saved it. He immediately returned to the channel and packed his things and left while simultaneously submitting his resignation to the management of SKAI while the case reached ESIEA which immediately filed a complaint. Yiannis Adamidis also submitted his resignation immediately following, while neither of the two was accepted by the Administration, which since the previous week has been trying to solve the issue silently by offering land and water to the aggrieved journalist. However, the latter not only appears unwavering in his decision to leave if Yiannis Adamidis does not leave the station, but the information tells me that he refused to even meet Yiannis Alafouzos.
What a show they ordered him, what much more money than what he receives today from the channel, he does not change his opinion and insists on the complaint made to the trade union body. No one knows what the outcome of the case will be in the end, as it seems that the Administration is not considering the possibility of removing Adamidis as he is considered one of their own. However, rumors want there to be other similar messages for other SKAI journalists, which makes his position even more difficult…
However, it is worth noting that Antonis Kritikos is one of the new blood of promising journalists and particularly favored on the channel as he had managed to get into the presence of the broadcasts in the summer months in the replacements while also presenting some followingnoon bulletins in sign language.
