It was an awesome Tuesday in several ways when the SHL continued with the first weekly round of the season. On Tuesday, five matches were played while Brynäs, Malmö, Linköping and MoDo rested. Skellefteå bounced back after the premiership loss and defeated HV71 away from home. Leksand suffered its second consecutive big loss and Olli Jokinen collected his first Timrå victory after Anton Wedin decided for Timrå in extra time against Örebro. Färjestad continues to gain steam in the competition context (CHL and SHL) and Frölunda could not recover from the traffic mess between Gothenburg and Ängelholm.
