When hearts are connected, dreams shine! This is the slogan of the Asian Games for the Disabled.
At the Hangzhou Asian Games, which began with the opening ceremony yesterday, our athletes are determined to pour out their passion with the goal of placing 4th overall.

Flowers symbolizing Hangzhou bloom in the main stadium, called the Big Lotus.
In a performance where disabled and non-disabled people come together, the hope was to connect everyone’s hearts.
The Asian Para Sports Festival, previously held as the Asia-Pacific Para Games, changed its name from the 2010 Guangzhou Games in China, and this is the fourth Asian Para Games.
Our national team, which has been working hard to develop basic sports, competes in all 21 sports except visual soccer and aims for 4th place overall.
Joo Jeong-hoon of Taekwondo, which became the first official event at the Asian Games.
Kim Hee-jin, captain of the women’s goalball team that qualified for next year’s Paris Paralympic Games, served as co-flagship bearer.
