Shin Tae-yong’s Indonesia draw at home against Park Hang-seo-ho Vietnam

Shin Tae-yong Indonesia and Park Hang-seo-ho Vietnam mightn’t decide the winner in the first leg of the Southeast Asian Cup semifinals.

Indonesia, led by coach Shin Tae-yong, drew 0-0 once morest Vietnam, led by coach Park Hang-seo, in the semi-finals of the tournament held at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta today (6th).

Backed by the warm support of the home fans, Indonesia took the lead in the first half and actively attacked the Vietnamese camp.

Indonesia, who had a 7-2 lead in the number of shots in the first half, failed to open the Vietnamese goal due to chronic inability to score goals.

In the second half, the Indonesian players slowed down, and Vietnam gradually raised the level of offense, but once more, no goals were scored.

The two teams will move to My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi, Vietnam on the evening of the 9th to play the second game.

Coach Park Hang-seo, who led Vietnam to the top in this tournament in 2018, ends his five-year partnership with Vietnam with this tournament.
