Yanqing/Beijing – Ski star Mikaela Shiffrin has decided to compete at the Olympic Super-G on Friday (04.00 CET/live ORF 1). This was announced by a spokeswoman for the US team on Thursday. The 26-year-old also wants to focus entirely on training in order to prevent the Beijing Games from becoming a total flop for her. After two failures in the giant slalom and slalom, the spokeswoman said that Shiffrin would no longer attend media appointments “in the foreseeable future”.
Shiffrin no longer gives interviews, but does not start in the Super-G – Goggia – Winter Sports
