Igor Shesterkin is the main contender for the prize of the best goalkeeper of the season in NHL.
The official website of the NHL held a vote among 17 experts to determine the contenders for the Vezina Trophy.
Each voting participant named five candidates, the points were calculated according to the 5-4-3-2-1 scheme.
Goalkeeper Rangers Igor Shesterkin took 1st place with 84 points with 16 first places.
The top 3 also included Jakob Markstrom (Calgary55 points and 1 first place) and Frederik Andersen (Carolina36).
In addition to them, Darcy Kumper (Colorado, 31), Juuse Saros (Nashville, 25), Ilya Sorokin (Islanders, 9), Andrey Vasilevsky (Tampa8), Sergei Bobrovsky (“Florida”, 4), Ville Husso (“St. Louis”1), Tristan Jerry (Pittsburgh1).
