Russian forces claimed to have killed more than 150 Ukrainian soldiers in missile strikes in the eastern and northern regions of Ukraine on the 8th (local time).

He claimed that more than 60 Ukrainian soldiers were killed in an artillery bombardment by Russian forces on the previous day in the Rieman region in eastern Ukraine.
The attack not only caused losses in Ukrainian forces, but also destroyed three armored vehicles and three trucks, Konashenko said.
He said that the Ukrainian forces suffered a loss of power in the area south of Donetsk the previous day as well, which had been shelled by the Russians.
More than 40 troops were killed in the area, two armored vehicles and three trucks were destroyed, it said.
On this day, the Russian army also presented its own statistics on the losses suffered by the Ukrainian army since the start of the war in February last year.
Konashenkof said 367 fighters, 200 helicopters, 2,856 unmanned aerial vehicles, 400 surface-to-air missile systems, 7,460 tanks and armored vehicles, 972 multiple rocket launchers, 3,793 field artillery and mortars, and special military vehicles. It explained that 7,978 units were destroyed.
