Shein sets up its racks in Paris. After a remarkable passage in Lyon, the e-retailer specializing in fast-fashion is opening a new pop-up store Friday, May 5, 2023 in the heart of the Marais.
Clothing at very low prices
From Friday May 5 to Monday May 8, the Chinese giant takes over 400 m² at 18-20 rue des Archives. Like its online store, the pop-up store will offer a selection of clothes at ridiculous prices. In store, the average price will be 13,64 euros for a selection of clothes for the whole family, indicates the sign at Paris news.
“Whether you’re looking for the perfect little summer dress, a t-shirt for your child or your new favorite lip gloss, we’ve selected our best fashion items for you,” promises the brand to its customers. A selection of accessories and decorative items will also be on sale.
Expected openings
This is not the first time Shein has set up shop in the capital. For several months, the sign, decried for its manufacturing conditions and the quality of its clothes, has multiplied the openings with each time, impressive queues.
In September 2022, a store had opened for four days in the Halles district, following Marseille and Montpellier. In March 2023, his visit to Lyon had been decried by an elected official who castigated “deadly social and environmental practices”.
