Shein confirmed that has already received more than 200 tons of products within the Conform Remittance program. With this, the company becomes the first retailer to work with a large quantity of merchandise within the initiative that provides exemption from federal taxes for purchases of up to US$50.

According to the company, the main advantage of the program is rapid customs clearance, as its products no longer pass through inspection posts in Curitiba (PR).

Now, all Chinese cargo must be inspected by Federal Revenue inspection posts in São Paulo (SP).

Citing an example, Shein said that the first international shipments were processed by the Post Office at Guarulhos airport, in São Paulo, between the 23rd and 25th of September.

Shortly following receipt, all packages were taken to the International Post Office in Jaguaré, west of São Paulo. At this location, simplified customs control is carried out by the Federal Revenue Service and the entire process takes place in a few hours.

As a result, the products are immediately dispatched to their respective destinations, speeding up the delivery process.

The tendency is for this process to also be repeated with orders from other retailers, such as AliExpress, MercadoLivre and Shopee. In the case of Shein, the company is also subsidizing ICMS for purchases below US$50.
