Dubai: Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of the Executive Council Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has ordered the launch of the Hatta Development Project, which will transform the hilly region of Hatta into a tourist destination. The project, part of the Du Bye 2040 Urban Master Plan, was announced earlier. Sheikh Hamdan also directed the formation of a Supreme Committee to oversee the project. This includes the construction of systems that include an inland beach, a lake, and a mountain railway via cable. Hatta, which shares a border with Oman, is already a major tourist attraction. The new project aims to transform the area to attract more tourists. The Supreme Committee is responsible for overseeing and completing these development projects in a timely manner. There are also plans to introduce a new bus service that includes compartments for bicycles and scooters. A new ride-sharing service and bus will be designed for the area as needed
