Dubai | Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, personally met and congratulated the motorcycle delivery boy who removed the cement block from the busy road and made waves on social media.
Sheikh Hamdan shared a picture with Talabat delivery boy, Abdul Ghafoor Abdul Hakeem, a native of Pakistan on social media. Sheikh Hamdan had earlier appealed to the public to help find the person who did the ‘good’ deed. Abdul Ghafoor, a 27-year-old from Pakistan, also won widespread acclaim.
“Proud to meet Abdul Ghafoor. Abdul Ghafoor is a true role model to follow.’ Sheikh Hamdan wrote on Twitter. In the old video, the Talabat rider was shown getting off his motorbike and removing building blocks from the road. That work was done to prevent the vehicles from getting into an accident. Abul Ghafoor, the father of a two-year-old child, said that the intention was only to protect road users.
Abdul Ghafoor, a Talabat rider for five months, removed cement blocks from the middle of the road near a traffic light in Alkhus.
