MUMBAI: The court has allowed the former lover and co-star Sheesan Khan, who was arrested in connection with the death of TV star Tunisha Sharma, to deliver food from home to the jail. Sheesan’s lawyer argued in court that Sheesan has severe asthma and needs to use an inhaler daily.
The lawyer said that since he is the only adult male in the family, he needs to meet the family and lawyers to help make decisions. Following this, the court allowed medicines and family members to visit. Sheesan was remanded in judicial custody for another 14 days. The court accepted the plea of the accused not to cut his hair while in custody.
Tunisha was found hanging dead on the sets of the serial ‘Ali Baba: Dastan-e-Kabool’ on the evening of December 24. His relationship with Sheesan ended two weeks before his death. But both continued to act together in the serial. Sheesan was arrested on December 25 on charges of abetment of suicide on the complaint filed by Tunisha’s mother.
