Many singers in Taiwan’s entertainment industry entered the entertainment industry through the “Five Light Awards”, including Zhang Huimei, who was the first five-degree five-level winner of the “Five Light Star Singing Arena” in 1994. However, during the process, when a female amateur challenged the defending champion Zhang Huimei in 1992, the two tied three times and the battle was deadlocked. Tian Yinhua appeared on the “Five Light Awards” 32 years ago and competed with the then 19-year-old defending champion A-mei. The two tied three times. Tian Yinhua is also considered a strong rival of A-mei. A-mei held a concert at the Taipei Arena in 2022. Tian Yinhua’s son Wu Zhenan participated in the fan chorus selection for A-mei’s concert at the time and was successfully selected. A-mei also learned during the rehearsal that Wu Zhenan’s mother was Tian Yinhua. Wu Zhenan later sang with A-mei in the concert as he wished. He revealed that his mother stopped participating in the competition because she was pregnant with him. After learning regarding this, A-mei smiled and said to Wu Zhenan: “So you saved me.” The fans in the audience shouted that they hoped Tian Yinhua might go on stage to sing, but A-mei humorously said that she was afraid of losing and would talk regarding it later.
