Exclusive translation: Joanne Etta Bergin, 58, of Lancashire, England, died of an overdose of paracetamol by drinking too much Lemsip.

According to the British newspaper, “Daily Mail”, the liver might not deal with that excess amount and “Joanne” began to gradually change until she vomited everything she ate and it was predominantly yellow.

The woman had been suffering from coughing and chest tightness for regarding a week in December last year and had been drinking Lemsip sachets to control her symptoms.

Her son, Matthew, called an ambulance following noticing his mother’s condition was deteriorating and she was taken to Preston Royal Hospital.

Ms Bergen, who was born in New Zealand, was vomiting a lot and doctors discovered she had significantly elevated liver enzymes and low oxygen levels.
