A major crisis occurred in the theatrical show “Sayed Darwish,” starring Mido Adel and Liqa Suwaidan. An incredible incident broke out behind the scenes, as the Egyptian actress Suwaidan assaulted the hero of the theatrical show, Adel, and slapped him in the face following the play ended. She also refused to come out to greet the audience.
The details of that crisis were narrated by the writer, Mr. Ibrahim, the author of the show, in a comment he published yesterday, Sunday, on his Facebook account, but instead of mentioning the name “Suwaidan Meeting,” he replaced it with “Jalila,” and wrote, “Jalila said to me the night before, and the artist Yassin Al-Daw was with me.” She will close Sayed Darwish’s show… and I did not expect her to carry out her premeditated and premeditated intention and do it on the last night and spoil everyone’s joy.”
He also considered that she distorted the success and effort of four years, did not go out to greet the audience, and lurked for the hero of the work behind the scenes and slapped him, stressing that the latter controlled his nerves and came out out of respect for his art and the audience of the work.
The author concluded his words by saying, “Then it became clear that this was her habit in all the shows in which she participated, and she lit up her backstage and closed it… and the witnesses are alive and well.”
He also explained that there is an investigation by the Acting Professions Syndicate into the matter, without revealing other details.
Commentary on the Suwaidan meeting
For her part, Suwaidan remained silent, saying only on her Facebook account that the case has been investigated by Legal Affairs since last September 2, and that the Administrative Control Department is also investigating it.
It merely emphasized that it would not respond to any publications it addressed regarding this crisis except by law.
As for Adel, he contented himself with republishing verses by the poet Najib Sorour, which he had published 6 years ago, stating the following: “Oh world of falsehood, embellished like the face of a prostitute… what remains for the thirsty except drowning?”
