“Not everyone has to lose their virginity as a teenager,” Wilson told People magazine in an interview published Wednesday regarding her upcoming memoir, “Rebel Rising.” “People can wait until they’re ready or wait until they’re a little more mature.”
“Obviously you don’t have to wait until you’re in your thirties like me, but you shouldn’t feel pressured as a young person,” she said.
Describing herself as a “late bloomer,” Wilson told the magazine that she would tell her friends she was “just doing it to get over it” when she was in her 20s, or simply leave the room when the subject came up.

Ahead of its release, the memoir – Rebel Rising – had already sent shockwaves through Hollywood following the 44-year-old Pitch Perfect star named Sacha Baron Cohen as the “a-hole” she describes in a chapter of the book.
Now Rebel has named Micky Gooch Jr, now 38, as her first sex partner in the memoir, while explaining how she had no idea it was the Bridesmaid star’s first time.
“Micks, I know this may be news to you if you’re reading this, but yes, I lost my virginity to you,” she wrote in the memoir, according to MailOnline.
Rebel wrote regarding the fact that when she first had sex she was very fat, and her delay in doing so was because she felt she was a “big girl” and that no one would ever find her “really” sexually attractive.
