Jennifer Gwynne, who dated Elon Musk when both were at university in the mid-90s, decided to auction off several memorabilia from her relationship with the billionaire.
18 photos of the owner and some other objects will be sold to the highest bidders.
Jennifer Gwynne and Elon Musk started dating in 1994, when they were all students at the University of Pennsylvania.
The entrepreneur’s ex-girlfriend notably auctioned off photos of Elon Musk having fun in a dorm, walking around with other students and even hanging out with his girlfriend at the time.
The item with the highest starting bid is a greeting card Elon Musk gave to Jennifer Gwynne. As of Sunday, the bet was down to nearly $7,000 for this card.
A necklace containing an emerald from Elon Musk’s father’s South African mine is also part of the auction lot.
“When we visited Elon’s mother in Toronto during the 1994 holiday season, he gave me the card and the necklace,” says Jennifer Gwynne.
“I wore the necklace for several years, but it sat in my jewelry box for the past ten years,” she adds.
Fans of Elon Musk have until Wednesday to try to get their hands on one of the memories of Elon Musk and his ex-girlfriend.
