In Texas, the United States, a woman may have to appear in court for child abuse because she carried her 13-year-old son, infected with the coronavirus, in the trunk of her car.

By doing so, she wanted to avoid becoming infected, according to US media.

The 41-year-old woman, from the Houston area, took her son, who had previously tested positive, by car to a testing site for a retest. On the spot, she said that her son was in the safe, which made it possible to inform the police. The boy was not injured.
