He who is no longer, who left too quickly, too soon from pancreatic cancer when she was 9 years old.
Before his death, his father had a dream: to climb the seven highest peaks in the world. “He had done everything possible to carry out his project,” says Constance, also founder of the association “7 summits once morest disease”.
Three years for the project
Today, from the height of her 24 years, the young woman wishes to pay him the most beautiful of tributes by carrying out this challenge for him. “He explained in a letter that he would like his ashes to be scattered on the 7 highest peaks. »
From Kilimanjaro in July 2021, to Mont Blanc in July 2022 via Aconcagua in December 2022, the one who had no knowledge of mountaineering before embarking on this challenge takes up the mission. Constance gives herself three years to carry out this project “I would like to become the youngest French woman to have climbed Everest”, she explains.
In her adventure, Constance notably met Christine Janin, the first French woman to climb the seven summits, including Everest. “She has supported me since the beginning of my project. » continues the young woman « To meet Christine, it’s a chance. She has all the keys to help me. She is an extremely inspiring woman whom I greatly admire. »
His exploits, Constance decided to film them during a documentary film. “Chapter Zero: Mont Blanc” will be screened at the Grand Rex in Paris on Friday April 21 At 20 o ‘clock.
