“Kabaret na żywo” has returned to Polsat after the controversies of recent months. The broadcast was removed from the schedule just before the parliamentary elections in 2023. The agreement obliged the cabaret artists to record further episodes, which have not yet been broadcast. The artists later announced that they suspend cooperation with Polsat Television.

In the meantime, the comedians broadcast ready-made sketches in the form of radio plays, and many of them concerned the political situation in Poland. Ultimately, the television and the satirists managed to reach an agreement and after a long break, the cabarets returned to television. However, the first episode of the new season is not broadcast live, as the title suggests, but is a rebroadcast of the performance of the Kabaret Skeczów Męczących from Kielce from August 2024.
The performance began with a joke about President Andrzej Duda’s famous statement from the World Economic Forum in Davos (2020).
“As our president would say, ‘It’s a… program about Polish people’,” began one of those present on stage.
