Shark Tank: Vinita who refused a salary of crores and took a job of ten thousand

Vinita Singh is one of the judges of the business reality television series ‘Shark Tank India’.

Vinita has revealed that when she completed her MBMA in Ahmedabad in 2007, she was offered a job with an annual salary of INR 1 crore, which she turned down.

According to the Indian newspaper Indian Express, instead of taking a high-paying job, Vinita started working on a personal startup in which she was paid Rs 10,000 per month.

Vinita says that the salary offered to her was the first of its kind in India. Later he regretted that he should not have missed this opportunity.

In a chat with Curly Tales, Vinita said that in 2007, graduates of an Indian business school were never offered a job with a salary of Rs 1 crore.

“It was the first time at IIM (Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad) that a bank came forward and said, ‘If we can give it to graduates from Harvard or Wharton, we can give it to graduates from the Indian Business School,'” he said. Why can not give?

“They decided to take the offer up to Rs 10 crore which is actually two hundred thousand dollars and thus became news as it was the first offer of its kind in India.”

The co-founder of ‘Sugar Cosmetics’ revealed that he had never held a job before when the job offer came.

This made the news because she was only 23 years old at that time. He was not employed anywhere.
