Sharjah’s Groundbreaking Zulmi EB-1 Electric Bike: Indigenous Innovation and Unmatched Performance

Sharjah indigenously developed electric bike launched. The bike was launched under the name of ‘Zulmi EB-1’. It will travel 300 km on a single charge. The bike was developed by the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park.

This is the first indigenous product developed by start-up Strip’s ZooLab. The speed of the bike is 150 km per hour. It can travel up to 300 km on a single charge. The vehicle is also equipped with intelligent technologies for driver safety. The price of the vehicle has not been released.

Local start-up company Zulmi EB-One, Strip Chairperson Sheikha Budur Al Qasimi, Under Secretary of the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology Omar Al Suwaidi, CEO Hussain Al Mahmoudi and other officials, businessmen and media persons attended the launching ceremony. Strip CEO Hussain Al Mahmoudi said it is a proud moment for a locally designed and manufactured product to be manufactured at the Strip.
