The Sharjah Self-Defense Sports Club organized technical sports training, in cooperation with the Jordanian Jiu-Jitsu Federation, at the club’s headquarters, with the participation of 60 male and female players, with the aim of identifying the advanced technical experiences of the sport of Jiu-Jitsu. In conjunction with the joint exercises, the club’s chairman, Ahmed Al-Owais, and the director of the Jordanian Federation, Zaid Grunduqa, discussed ways of joint technical cooperation, to contribute effectively to developing the technical and administrative returns of the club’s players and coaches in the future, during the meeting that brought them together at the club’s headquarters. In a press statement, Al-Owais welcomed the ideas that were discussed at the meeting, most notably the call for the club’s members to participate in technical and arbitration courses, which are supervised by the Jordanian Federation, and to organize mutual technical and physical training camps between the two sides.
