SHARJAH, 25th April / WAM / Sharjah International Marine Sports Club concluded a training course on how to drive speedboats (Formula) as part of its activities under the supervision of world champion Sami Sileo, the club’s player.
The course witnessed a large turnout of participants, especially from the UAE and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, with the aim of preparing national competencies capable of developing the technical capabilities of the national trainer, improving his capabilities, providing him with opportunities for success, and bringing him to advanced sports and training levels, and able to work in the field of driving speedboats.
The international champion, Sami Sileo, gave a detailed explanation of how to learn to drive speedboats, their types and laws, as well as security and safety factors, in addition to teaching the participants rescue techniques and the players’ good behavior with emergency situations during accidents or boat capsizing during training and tournaments.
His Excellency Khalid Jassim Al Midfa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the club, said that the club is keen to organize such important training courses, believing in the importance of creating, encouraging, training and developing young people and their involvement in specialized courses to reach the world and best represent their countries according to sound scientific foundations.
