“Sharjah Heritage” and “Hamdan bin Mohammed for the Revival of Heritage” together in “My Document”

In cooperation with the Hamdan bin Mohammed Center for Heritage Revival, the Sharjah Institute for Heritage organized the “My Document” initiative, which included a joint presentation of a group of historical documents and publications on Emirati heritage and its deep-rooted culture.
These documents and publications represent the backbone of the Emirati legacies in their fine details. It expresses the country’s cultural and intellectual identity, plays the role of a cornerstone in the civilized development experienced by the country, and takes confident steps forward.
Fatima Saif bin Hariz, Director of Research and Studies at the Hamdan bin Mohammed Center for Heritage Revival, expressed her happiness to participate in this initiative, and said: “We are pleased to cooperate with all concerned authorities and institutions in the field of preserving our country’s rich and detailed heritage that allows us to know and preserve our history accurately and preserve it. And pass it on to future generations.”
She pointed out that participation in the “My Document” initiative was rich and diverse. It was not limited to displaying a number of the center’s documents only; We even presented a collection of the center’s latest releases in recent times.
She continued, “We invite the Center to all state institutions and individuals interested in the state’s heritage, to be part of the My Document initiative, given the cultural and heritage role it constitutes.”
The initiative witnessed a rich presentation by the Sharjah Heritage Institute, which included a rare collection of documents and methods of preserving and archiving them. The institute also provided a detailed explanation of how to deal with such rare historical documents and evidence in order to preserve them and not be damaged.
Aisha Al-Hussan Al-Shamsi, Director of the Arab Heritage Center of the Sharjah Heritage Institute, said: “We are pleased to partner with local authorities, bodies and institutions that deal with the world of heritage in its various aspects and titles, which confirms our all role in order to protect, preserve, transmit and sustain heritage, and here we are, as we always used to translate this The approach, with partners in the Hamdan bin Mohammed Center for Heritage Revival, on the “My Document” initiative, which was organized by the Institute, and includes a set of rich historical documents and publications that focus on the status, value and importance of the rich and diverse Emirati heritage.
