The Sharjah Police General Command, represented by the Department of the Punitive and Correctional Institution, received a delegation from the Department of the Punitive and Correctional Institution in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, headed by Colonel Ali Saeed Obaid bin Matar Embassy, ​​Deputy Director of the Department, and his accompanying delegation. They were received by Colonel Abdullah Al Ghazal, Head of the Correction and Rehabilitation Department, and Colonel Abdul Rahman Salem Sahouh, Head of the Security Department, and a number of specialized officers from both parties.
At the beginning of the meeting, Colonel Abdullah Al Ghazal welcomed the visiting delegation, praising the fruitful cooperation and communication between Sharjah Police and its counterpart in Ras Al Khaimah in order to exchange experiences and knowledge, stressing the importance of these visits that support joint work. In a way that contributes to achieving the desired goals of the Ministry of Interior in enhancing the quality of life for the UAE community.
The visit came with the aim of extending bridges of cooperation between the two leaderships in the field of reform and rehabilitation of inmates, which contributes to developing common goals, and learning about the best practices applied in the same field, and the best practices followed in the security system. The visit included an introductory field tour in a number of departments in the institution, to improve Services provided to guests.
