Shaquille O’Neal took members of the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Dallas shopping for all the necessary back-to-school supplies. Several children visited a JC Penny branch in Texas. There, they received $500 gift cards to buy clothes, shoes and other basic necessities.
After shopping, the children said that this would help their parents: “It will be a great help because my mother has three more children for whom she has to buy things.” “This can help her save money,” the children said.
The former basketball star confessed that as a child he was one of those children who needed help.
