The star of Charmed and Beverly Hills 90210, Shannen Doherty, assured that there are a series of people she ‘does not want’ at her funeral, in the midst of her battle once morest cancer, the British newspaper Daily Mirror reported on its website.
According to The Mirror, in the latest edition of his podcast, Let’s Be Clear, Doherty admitted that “there are a lot of people I don’t want to be there.”
In conversation with his best friend and executor of his estate, Chris Cortazzo, Doherty explained that “I don’t want them there because their reasons for showing up are not necessarily the best. “They don’t like me, and they have their reasons, but they don’t really like me enough to come to my funeral.” Although she did not reveal who she was referring to, the 52-year-old actress added that “they will do it… because it’s the politically correct thing to do, and they don’t want to look bad.”

Doherty explained that in his farewell, “I don’t want people to cry or privately say, ‘Thank God that bitch is already dead.’”
When Chris asked him if he was invited, he joked. “That’s the shortest, best list.”
He added that “I can’t give you a list of who I don’t want because it would be too long.” Doherty said she “hates the charade” and “can’t stand people who pretend they ‘found Jesus and say they’re so sorry for anything bad they’ve said regarding you.’”
“I say, ‘No, no, no. I know you’re still the exact same petty human being. Do not do it. Get out of me. We’re fine,’” she continued.
Doherty initially announced she had breast cancer in 2015 and was later said to have gone into remission. It was later revealed that she had returned in 2019, and it was said that she had been diagnosed with stage four breast cancer.
The actress’s expressions came following she revealed in July that she has metastases and that the cancer she suffers from has spread to her brain.
