[The Epoch Times, February 12, 2023](Epoch Times reporters Fang Xiao, Gu Xiaohua, and Luo Ya interviewed and reported) On the evening of February 10, Lu Yatong, a Shandong women’s football player, revealed on social media that his house in his hometown was violently demolished. He and several family members were beaten, and someone was dragged for more than ten meters, leaving his back bloody and so on. Local officials reported that the demolished part was illegal construction. In this regard, Lu Yatong posted on Weibo once more, raising ten points of doubt.

Lu Yatong posted on Weibo on the 10th that at regarding 6:30 am on the 10th, regarding 300 people forcibly broke into the house and began to demolish it. More than 10 people snatched her brother’s mobile phone and injured his arm. The 19-year-old sister was locked in a closed container for three hours, during which time she was slapped, beaten and abused.

She said: “We were standing in the house with all the certificates. After being forcibly dragged out, my father and sister were dragged and beaten to the hospital. My brother and aunt were dragged for more than ten meters and their backs were bloody.”

Lu Yatong complained: “My other 19-year-old sister was dragged into an airtight container and locked up for three hours. During this time, three people slapped her. Everyone in the family was dragged out. The wounded were shut up, and the mobile phones were all taken away! This is a premeditated demolition operation.”

Benliu News reported on the 11th that Lu Yatong said that her house was located in the district of Huanghai Sub-district Office in Laishan District, Yantai City. After collecting all the materials, Huanghai Sub-district forced the demolition of my father’s contracted land and my grandfather’s property right house. Because the house does not belong to my father, he has no right to dispose of it, and my father has not signed it.” Lu Yatong said, Huang Hai The street issued a certificate of illegal construction to her home, “It is still within the 60-day review period, and the violent demolition was carried out at 6 am on February 10!”

“More than a hundred people forcibly entered my house, and my family members were dragged and injured when they tried to stop them.” Lu Yatong said that the house was cut off from water and electricity. On that day, these people demolished the buildings at the house and removed the fruit trees with the orchard contract and the forest tenure certificate. All destroyed.

On February 12, Lu Yatong told The Epoch Times reporter that she was sleeping at the time of the incident. After getting up, she learned that her sister and uncle had been taken away. She called the police and the phone was taken away.

“Then they started pulling me out. I broke free. They said they were going to make you move out.”

Lu Yatong said that following she broke free, she went back to the house, and was once more forcibly torn and dragged out by seven or eight men. “Then they broke into our house and took my brother’s phone.”

Lu Yatong said that she learned that their home was cut off before dawn on the day of the incident. Around six o’clock, a large group of people (men and women) started rushing towards her house.

She said it was uncertain whether the individuals were law enforcement officers and did not show identification. Some of them wore the uniforms of urban management, but it is not sure whether they are urban management. They also closed the roads on both sides.

Lu Yatong, she originally planned to return to the team on the 11th. After this incident happened, she asked for leave from the Shandong Women’s Football Team, and hoped to return to the team following the incident was resolved. The Shandong Women’s Football team agreed to her request for leave. She is afraid to live at home now, fearing that she will be hurt once more, so she temporarily lives in a relative’s house.

She said that at present, five members of the family have suffered skin trauma to varying degrees. Her uncle’s waist was also injured. “My arm and leg (injured), I have an MRI (examination) appointment, but I haven’t had it yet. There may be some ligament damage.”

On the morning of February 11, a staff member of the Huanghai Sub-district Office in Laishan District, Yantai City replied to the Lu media that he did not know regarding the matter.

In response to Lv Yatong’s exposure on social platforms that his home was violently demolished, on the evening of February 11, Yantai Laishan officials issued an investigation result. As many as 676 meters of the 760.6 square meters of buildings involved in Lu’s house were illegal buildings, and most of them were illegal buildings. It is the sheep shed and warehouse built by the Lu family themselves. Although the parties previously responded that many houses and toilets that have been used for decades have been demolished together, but if these are illegal constructions, demolition is necessary.

However, on the evening of the 11th, Lu Yatong expressed disapproval of the Benliu News. She said that she had just seen the notification. “The investigation should be two-sided. No one came to my house to investigate today. I don’t know how the investigation results came out.”

Regarding this incident, a reporter from The Epoch Times called the Propaganda Department of the Laishan District Party Committee on the 12th. The other staff said that a joint investigation team had been set up in the district and was investigating the matter; the specific results are subject to the official notification.

Lu Yatong told The Epoch Times that her family’s house belonged to her grandfather. The homestead is 172 square meters… All relatives in her family have the right to live there. She has lived in this house since she was born.

She said that the local government forced the demolition, but failed to negotiate a compensation price with their family. “When we did the appraisal, we didn’t show any appraisal certificate from the real estate company.” “I don’t know why the demolition was forced. I didn’t show any plans, and I didn’t make a public announcement. I don’t understand why the authorities are now leading public opinion to illegal construction.”

“We are not given any insurance for the future. We were beaten and hospitalized. We have to spend our own money, and we don’t have much money to go to the hospital.”

In response to the official announcement, Lu Yatong reposted on Weibo on the evening of February 11th, raising ten questions, including: Why did the official refuse to mention the binding signature? Is it reasonable to have a 60-day reconsideration period in the Decision on Demolition within a Time Limit? Why under the same circumstances, my neighbors have been compensated and my house is built illegally? I absolutely do not agree with the fact that the official said that I obstructed law enforcement. I have never even left the house, and I have never pushed or pulled anyone. Why did they pull me out of the house? I have video evidence, please provide all the video law enforcement records including showing credentials and documents! Why did you refuse to mention the fact of snatching the mobile phone? There are video proofs for dragging and forcing out of the house or even lifting it out? As for why the forced house demolition damaged my fruit trees, etc.

On the 12th, mainland lawyer Lu Tingge told the Epoch Times reporter regarding the case that the houses of the Shandong women’s football players were forcibly demolished, and the impact of this case was greater than that of ordinary people. China’s forced demolition has been going on, and there are too many forced demolition incidents. If the judiciary handles the case fairly and impartially, the case will not be difficult to solve.

He said that due to the inaction of the judiciary, sometimes they even colluded with the developers and the government involved in the forced demolition, or even the same thing. So it handles it negatively or even suppresses it. The victims who caused the forced demolition became the defendants during the struggle. This situation is created because the judiciary is not supervised. Therefore, it is very difficult for those who have been demolished to defend their rights. If the parties concerned are also involved in illegal construction, it will be even more difficult to explain the case clearly.

The home of Lu Yatong, an active Shandong women’s football player, was violently demolished, and several family members were violently beaten, injured and admitted to the hospital, which aroused heated discussions among netizens. Some netizens said that Lu Yatong is a member of the women’s football team, so he has a small reputation. This is true for such people, let alone ordinary people?

Liao Xiaoli, a popular education blogger, said on Weibo that if what Lu Yatong said is true, he must be investigated and dealt with seriously. Whoever is found will be held accountable, and the leader must take leadership responsibility. Check it out. Regardless of the reasons for the women’s football players’ homes, whether they were built illegally or not, it is extremely wrong for Yantai to cut off water, electricity, and violent demolition. Even if the house built by Lu Yatong’s family is an illegal building, the government should take reasonable measures to solve it, instead of sending hundreds of people to the house to demolish it following 6 o’clock in the morning.

“Have a good time”: Offended the officials, if it is an illegal building, why didn’t it stop it when it was built. In some places, people who demolished their own houses and rebuilt them were said to be illegal buildings, and they might be built following finding someone to pay.

“Ordinary Road Arsenal”: The statement in the official announcement was as expected.

“Li Xiaohua who can’t grow up”: The land in the countryside has no property rights, and the land in a village is limited, which is passed down from the older generation. There used to be many children. Go to the countryside and see that any family is good A few homesteads are not allowed to build a house now, and they are forced to go to the city to buy a house.
