“Al-Quds Al-Arabi”: Spanish media reported that the famous Colombian singer Shakira made a generous offer to her ex-boyfriend, Barcelona defender Gerard Pique, in order to settle the terms of their separation.
Pique and Shakira announced their separation a few weeks ago, following 12 years of marriage, which resulted in two children.
And the newspaper, “Marca”, reported that Shakira made a generous offer to Pique to settle the terms of their separation, but the Spanish player refused the offer because his legal team is working on a counter-proposal.
According to the newspaper, Shakira offered to take full responsibility for their two children, Sasha and Milan, who, according to her plan, would move to live with her in Miami, USA, instead of Barcelona.
According to the offer, Pique will not bear any financial responsibility for the two children, and what’s more, Shakira will even pay him for first-class travel to Miami five times a year to visit his two children, RT reported.
In addition to those five visits, the Colombian singer suggested that the two children spend the summer with their father.
The most exciting part of Shakira’s offer is her proposal to cover 20 percent of Pique’s debts ($2.5 million) incurred due to legal problems in Spain.
So far, Pique has rejected this proposal, as he is working to legally acquire custody of the two children as well.
Shakira and Pique separated following the Colombian singer discovered that Pique had betrayed her with a twenty-year-old girl who was reported to be a flight attendant, as her identity was not revealed.
